Happy Arnold Soko-Senior Investigative Journalist
Happy Arnold Soko holds a Diploma in Journalism and Media Studies from University of Malawi, The Polytechnic. After two years at a previous publication where he worked on more than two thousand stories of national interest, he has joined Malawi Star as our Senior Investigative Journalist.
He is currently working with American Brian Culwell to uncover and expose the homosexual abuse and corporal punishment by Kalibu Acadamy founder Michael Thomas Howard and the headmaster, Paisley Mavutula.
Thula Chisamba- Mzuzu Bureau
Thula Chisamba holds a certificate in Journalism from the Malawi Institute of Journalism (MIJ). Since graduating in 2014, he has published over 700 articles of public interest and investigating.
He is currently pursuing a corruption scandal at the Mzimba district council where millions of Kwacha are suspected to have been swindled by some senior government officials.
He has been applauded by authorities at Ekwendeni hospital in Mzimba and Laudan Teachers Training College (TCC) for publishing stories that saw well wishers donating something that were dragging back their operations.
His main passion and vision is to present Malawians with latest information to enable them to make informed decisions.
Andrew Chilapondwa- Senior Sports Reporter
Andrew has published more than 3000 online stories and is a holder of diploma in journalism from Malawi Institute of Journalism. His coverage of sports is second to none and he is a welcome addition to our team.
Lackson Kanyoza – Reporter
Lackson kanyoza holds a diploma in journalism from Malawi Institute of Journalism (MIJ). He has worked with different media houses and is the most recent addition to The Malawi Star as a reporter. Lackson Kanyoza has a vast experience in sports and current affairs, and published a number of articles on at his former work place. His passion is to become renowned News Analyst for The Malawi Star.
