Catholic University Alumni Give Career Talk To Likuni Girls Students

Catholic University Alumni recently visited Likuni Girls Secondary School in Lilongwe where they urged them to be discipline and aim high if they are to achieve their academic goals. All alumni who spoke at the event told the students to be vigilant and avoid being lazy in their studies.

Dingase Luwe who is the spokesperson for the group told a group of journalists after the event on the aim of the visit by the grouping. “We came here at Likuni Girls in order to inspire and motivate these girls so that they can work hard in class and become like us,” said Luwe.

Luwe said the trip to Likuni Girls was also one way of preparing them for university and life after college as well as providing options as to which universities and courses to think about and choose from. Luwe said they wanted to promote Catholic university through the central region Catholic university alumni and provide platform to inspire especially girls to think big and continue with school after high school is over.

The group will soon be visiting Mitundu Secondary School and Alice Gwengwe Foundation Schools.
