Police in Ntchisi are looking for unknown criminals who broke into a teacher’s house where they stole K600 000.

The incident happened on Saturday night, April 9, 2016 at Nkhuzi Teacher’s Staff houses in Ntchisi.
The money belonged to Ezala Meke, 56, of Mbiya Village in the area of Traditional Authority Vusojere in Ntchisi, who is a teacher at Nkhuzi Primary School.
When police visited the crime scene, they discovered that the thieves gained entry into the house through the front window of the house.
Meanwhile, no arrest and recovery has been made so far as investigations are underway to arrest the culprits.
Cases of robbery and violence are on the increase and police are warning everyone involved in these malpractices to expect a stiff sentence when caught citing these crimes are tarnishing the image of the country.
