Two Malawian mourners have died while three other sustained serious injuries after a car they were travelling in overturned within Kangwenya hills in Zambia.

The car, registration number BR 4244, was travelling from Chinkhulu in Mzimba to Chama in Zambia and had about five passengers on board.
It is believed that passengers on board, were heading to the said destination on a mission of mourning their deceased relative.
The three survivors have been admitted at Chama health center in Zambia according to reports.
Eyewitnesses who spoke to this publication alleged that the cause of the accident was over-speeding.
“The driver lost control of the car and consequently, it overturned,” said Mercy Phiri.
One of the deceased has been identified as Shema Kachali from Inkosi Chindi in Mzimba, while particulars of the other are yet to be identified.
Before publishing this article, authorities from Malawi Police were yet to comment on the matter.
