Nyasa Big Bullets midfielder Eneya Banda has been demoted and is likely to play for Bullets reserve side, the club have announced.
The former Karonga united star plus striker Sankhani Nyirenda were released on Thursday just few hours before the closure of the local transfer market of which they are not capable of playing any top tier club.
However, commenting on the matter, Bullets General Secretary Kelvin Moyo said “On the issue of Eneya I think it did not go well but if you recall last season he was not active because of injuries.
He played friendly matches to gain fitness but maybe he did not impress the technical panel. But we cannot let him go. He is our player and we still have plans for him.”
Another centre of attraction is on the former Blantyre united captain Jimmy Chikulekule who has been sidelined after training with the people’s team for over a month.
Other notable players which have been released are Midfielder Sparrow Msowoya, Cuthbert Kanyama Sinetre and Striker Mapopa Kaunda.
