Nyasa Big Bullets General Secretary Titha Mandiza has officially resigned from her position with immediate effect following unrest within the team’s executive committee.

According to information made available to The Malawi Star, Mandiza has followed Sadick Malinga and Noel Lipipa who resigned last week.
Divisions in Bullets camp forced Bullets players to boycott training as they demanded the removal of Mandiza and the other four people from their respective positions.
The situation got worse when some section of team’s supporters planned to hold a vigil in order to force Mandiza to resign. However, supporters Chairman Stone Mwamadi intervened by stopping the angry mob from matching to the latter’s office at Malawi Revenue Authority (MRA) in Blantyre.
The latest development leaves Vice Treasurer Alex Gondwe alone in the battle to defend his position within the club.
Earlier this month, Nyasa Manufacturing Company (NMC) Managing Director told all the involved parties that his K0.5 billion sponsorship deal with Bullets will only be intact if the current club Chairman Sam Chilunga stays put at the club as he was very instrumental in securing the deal.
