With the Club licensing now taking its course in Malawian football, some well known football administrators in the country are set to lose their positions following a stakeholders meeting hosted by the Football Association of Malawi (FAM) last week.

According to a statement released by the FA which was signed by General Secretary Suzgo Nyirenda, several resolutions were made and one of it being setting up a secretariat at Super League of Malawi (Sulom), which will automatically mean that the body will no longer be interested in the services of General Secretary, vice General Secretary and Treasurer.
During the meeting, FAM and all stakeholders agreed to beef up Sulom secretariat by opening an Administration office, Accounting office, Marketing and Security departments respectively.
Prior to this meeting, an Extraordinary General Meeting for Sulom last year agreed to set up an office like structure but the move was crushed by Banda who knew that the move was likely to affect his position at Sulom.
However, with the recommendations coming into effect from the upcoming season, Banda, Thoko Chazema and Tiya Somba Banda are likely to be the victims in line with what was agreed during the meeting.
