Flames head coach Ernest Mtawali has released a 20 man squad for the crucial 2017 African Cup of Nation qualifier against Guinea next week.

Mtawali has made several changes to the squad that played Swaziland last year, with former Flames Captain Joseph Kamwendo, Zicco Mkanda and Harry Nyirenda all making it into the final squad for the first time since last year.

The former Flames midfielder has included four under 20 players and ten professional players.

Missing on the list is Charles Swini who was called into the camp but due to logistical problems, missed out on the trip.

The team will leave on Sunday at exactly 15:00 hrs for Guinea via Free Town where they will play a friendly match against Sierra Leone before enrouting to Guinea.
Victory against their opponents on the day will keep the Flames’s hopes of making it to Gabon alive.
