Reports reaching The Malawi Star indicates that on Thursday, there was fracas at Mzuzu government secondary school where students were protesting against the poor diet.
Inside sources have reported that authorities at the institution has subjected students to a poor diet which often was without meat.

“We have been complaining about the lack of meat in our diet ever since this term opened. We suspected that our authorities were cheating on us by keeping and eating the meat themselves,” said a Form three student at the institution who pleaded for anonymity.
Though The Malawi Star cannot independently confirm the cause of the fracas, we can confirm that students went on a rampage at the institution.
When our reporter wanted to verify the cause of fracas from the authorities at the institution, no one was available for comment.
