Gaba’s departure has costGabadinho-Mhango us alot-Celtic coach

The 23 year old Malawian wonder kid was forced out of Bloemfontein Celtic after Bidvest Wits confirmed they had signed him on a pre-contract.

Months after his departure, Celtic has felt his absence with head coach Serame Letsoaka telling the local media that his club misses Mhango.

“I told the press just after Gabadinho’s departure to remember how he was playing with Morena and Lamola, so it was definately a loss when he left the team,” he said.

The former Big Bullets forward turned down an offer to stay at the club despite being convinced to stay by chairman Max Tshabalala.

His contract with Wits will start on 1st July but he is currently playing for Golden Arrows on loan till the rest of the season.

He made headlines in his debut season when he scored vital goals for Celtic and was eventually named the team’s young player of the season.

However, Mhango failed to replace his form into 2015/16 season due to persistent injuries to his knee.
