Malawi’s reggae Kings, Black Missionaries, leader Anjilu Fumulani has described the death of their member, Gift Thugo, as a big loss to their music group.

Thugo, who died of pneumonia in yesterday’s morning hours at Mulanje Mission Hospital, until his death was a keyboardist at the Chileka based reggae band.
According to Fumulani, Angochimwirabe and Dalo hit makers, will miss his talent since it has contributed a lot to the development of the group.
“His passing on is a big loss to us since he contributed alot to the band. He was talented and we will miss him very much,” said Fumulani.
Thugo started his music career at the Wailing Brothers in the year of 1998 before joining the Black Missionaries.
Meantime according to the reggae stars group, the funeral arrangement will be announced later.
