Poet Amfumu Khondiwa, who is also a Times radio presenter, said he would simultaneously launch Anaponda ndi Mapazi Satana CD and DVD on March 6, 2016 at Chriche Multipurpose Gardens next to Chitawira Puma Filling station in Blantyre.

A Blantyre based radio presenter  explained that he decided to release the visual poems to give his fans opportunity to understand his poetry message through motion pictures as the world has gone digital.

Anaponda ndi Mapazi Satana album carries popular poems such as DJ Waku Shower, Na lero DJ Utikwatira, Maloto, Tisewere ndi Maina, Anaponda ndi Mapazi Satana and many others.

He further promised fans the best performances and untold entertainment during the launch.

“I will dish out the best and I edge them to come in large numbers because they will have fun,” promises Khondiwa.

During the event audience will have chances of enjoying performances from other notable poets artists like Robert Chiwamba, Slyvester Kaling’oma, Joseph Madzedze, Rapheal Sitima, and presidential mimickers: Aunt gate, Achair, music by king james phiri and GYV Dancing Troupe.

He expressed his bliss by being first poet artist to launch both poetry CD and DVD though he is second artist to launch poetry DVD in the history of Malawi.

The first poetry DVD in the country, “Unkalindanji Moyo DVD” was launched in 2015 by poet Sylvester Kalizang’oma.

“It’s history in the making and I feel so honoured and I praise God for the project. I’m the second person to launch the DVD but I’m the first person to launch CD and DVD”, he happily explained.
