An unidentified man has been found dead with his skull broken and one leg chopped off in the wee hours of Saturday at Makhetha-Limbe road in Blantyre, The Malawi Star can report.
The man was was found by people who were passing by the road early in the morning.
The incident has left many people wondering what really happened to the man as police at the scene were yet to establish the cause of his death.
A security officer who found the dead body on his way to work had this to say “we just found this man lying down by the road in a pool of blood. From the look of things we suspect people attempted to remove his private parts but only managed to cut off his leg and removed part of the skin on his waist.”
Police are yet to identify the deceased. Meanwhile, the body has been taken to the mortuary at Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital and the publication is keenly following the matter.
