The players were highly linked with a move away from the club but on Wednesday, Big Bullets duo Chiukepo Msowoya and Pilirani Zonda put pen to paper to a one year deal which marked the end of any speculation regarding their future ahead of the new season.

After losing Jafali Chande to rivals Mighty Wanderers, Bullets were on the verge of losing their two key players due to contractual disputes.
However, it’s done and dusted as the players have committed their future to the club ahead of the new season.
The Malawi Star has reliably been informed that Bullets Chairman Sam Chilunga was given a 24 hour ultimatum to resign if Msowoya was not tied to a new deal. Nyasa Manufacturing Company Managing Director Konrad Buckle was very instrumental in securing Msowoya’s deal as he was on the verge of quitting the club.
Since securing their K0.5 billion sponsorship package from NMC, things have not been well in Bullets camp, with some of the executive members resigning from their respective positions.
This affected the team badly as some senior players demanded a huge amount of money as a condition to sign a new contract with the club.
It will be a relief for Bullets fans as they are yet to come to terms with Chande’s departure to Wanderers last week.
