A renowned South African based Malawian prophet Austine Liyabunya has urged Malawians to pray for President Peter Mutharika citing that insulting TB Joshua may lead to his downfall.

Liyabunya made the call barely few hours after Mutharika called the renowned Nigerian prophet TB Joshua as a false prophet.
Mutharika minced no words by challenging that if Joshua and Joyce Banda think he will die by April this year, then they should forget about that because he sees himself beyond 2019.
“Why did he not foresee the fall of his church which cracked down and killed hundreds of people? Joshua is a false prophet,” fumed the angry Mutharika.
He went on to emphasize that Joshua and Joyce Banda will not repeat what they did to his brother Late Bingu wa Mutharika in 2012 citing he is still strong and will lead Malawi beyond their imaginations.
Meanwhile his sentiments have sparked a controversy among Malawians and Christians worldwide where some people are backing his statement while others are criticizing him for insulting God’s servant.
“Did Joshua mention him in his prophecy? Is he the only African leader? Sometimes that’s how people get cursed on things that never concern them,” said Yamikani Myaba.
However, Brian Nyirongo criticized Joshua for always prophesying about the death of some people citing that it is not the proper way of using God’s anointing indeed he has any.
However, Prophet Liyabunya who calls TB Joshua as his senior prophet revealed that what Mutharika has done by dressing down the man of God, fulfils his earlier prophecy which highlighted his downfall.
“This clearly shows the presidents downfall. Fulfilling the prophecy that he will fall but more is yet to happen, let’s just pray for him for God’s mercy,” said Liyabunya.
He further urged Malawians to pray for their country and president Mutharika to repent.
Stupid Liabunya!! Another stupid false prophet! You told the world Mugabe was to die by December, 2015. He is still alive and very strong. Who should believe you? Mbava inu ndi Joshua wako yemweyo. Viva APM.
