Albino Suspected Killer Apprehended

The head of a 9-year-old boy with albinism who was abducted by two criminals on 26^th February this year while sleeping in his parents’ home has been found in Adamson Village in the same area.

Police launched a manhunt and were tipped by well-wishers that the deceased’s uncle Elias Chatha is suspected to have taken part in the boy’s slaughter.

Machinga Police Criminal Investigation Officer Inspector Isaac Ndala confirmed the development to The Malawi Star saying they apprehended the suspect in the early hours of Tuesday morning at his house.

“We arrested the suspect at his house at Nayuchi during the early hours of Tuesday,” he said.

However, two more suspects are still at large. The suspect hails from Mpakati Village in the Traditional Authority Chikuwo in the same district.
