Mhone Excited With First Goal

 Flames’ skipper Micium Mhone who opened his scoring account in South African League on Saturday says his is excited with his first goal.

The former Blue Eagles winger netted Cosmos’ second goal in the 83rd minute after he came off the bench as a substitute.

He replaced Linda Mnthambo in the 63rd Minute but it was a little late as the game ended with a 4 – 2 in favour of Super sport United.

Mhone in an interview says the goal will boost his confidence. A

‘’I am happy to have scored my first goal, because it will boost my confidence.’’ Mhone was quoted by a local media.

Jomo Cosmos are hovering dangerously close to the relegation zone after that defeat. They are stuck on position 14, third from the bottom with 17 points. Supersport United front man Jeremy Brockie was the hero of the day as he stole the show with a hat trick.

The win propelled the Matsatsantsa with seven straight league wins of the season. The hat trick sends Brockie to join the chase for a golden boot award with 8 goals.

However, Micium is expected to join flames camp next week as they prepare to face Guinea next month for the 2017 African Cup of nations qualifying rounds.
