Civo Service United defender John Lanjesi has failed to clinch a deal with unknown Mozambican club, fuelling speculations that his move to Big Bullets is now imminent.

The 25 year old centre back signed a pre-contract with Bullets some weeks ago but his parent club facilitated a move for him to snub Bullets for a Mozambican club.

However, his dream move to Bullets is getting closer as the window in Mozambique was shut down.

On Thursday, Civo’s acting general secretary Charles Mwenda told Bullets to meet their demands or forget about signing the defender as he was also attracting interest from Mozambique.

Bullets officials were not available for a comment but The Malawi Star can reveal that Lanjesi will join the league champions this week.
