Malawi’s President Peter Mutharika will today on 20th February 2016 preside over the elevation of Lhomwe tribe Chief, Traditional Authority (T/A) Ngolongoliwa in Thyolo district to Senior Chief.
According to a press statement that The Malawi Star has seen, Mutharika will arrive at the venue at 10:30am.
“His Excellency the President is expected to arrive at Thyolo Community Centre Ground at 10:30 in the morning. All guests are requested to be seated by 9:30.” Reads part of the statement.
T/A Ngolongoliwa was promoted into the position of this T/A by former President Joyce Banda from the position of Sub-Traditional A
