According to FAM general secretary Suzgo Nyirenda, the meeting was supposed to be conducted last year but was postponed due to court injunctions.

“This EGM comes due to the failed one on 12th December last year due to a court injunction,” said Nyirenda.

He further disclosed delegates will also discuss welfare of players and club licensing.

During last year’s AGM some of the candidates that were aspiring for FAM presidency obtained court injunction to bar FAM from going ahead with the elections.
